Buying a hotel in the middle of a global lockdown has it's pros and cons.
On the positive side, there's plenty of time to get to grips with the business plan and put together priorities for refurbishment programmes. On the negative side, there's no opportunity to meet your new team or customers... nor make any money! Two birds one stone (later to become the brand of Rose Wine sold in our bar)... our takeaway coffee and cake service was launched. Serving both local residents and those out walking the Falls of Foyers.
Thanks to the support of local businesses Inverness Coffee Roasting Co. and Pure Bakery Highland we installed a shiny new coffee machine and started grinding the highland's best beans and delighted customers with delicious vegan cupcakes and tray bakes.
